The first section of our route took us to the Northwest for the summer, taking in rugged peaks, glacier fields, and abrupt shorelines along the "Ring of Fire". The tall pines, firs, and redwoods, high mountain air, and salty ocean spray was breathtaking!
We then continued on into the rolling farm fields, round top mountains, deciduous forests, and craggy coastlines of the Northeast. The autumn colors were beyond description, and the rich traditions and history made for fun learning!
